Our fees are consistent with the usual and customary rates for experienced doctoral and master's level mental health practitioners in South Florida.  At the time of the office visit, any fee for service charges, co-payment, co-insurance, deductible, or other patient responsibilities, will be collected, unless prior arrangements have been made with your practitioner. If you have mental health coverage on your insurance plan, we will be happy to file the claim on your behalf. Our office staff commits to filing your claim efficiently and in a timely manner. If the insurance claim is still denied after our office staff makes reasonable effort to resubmit your claim and collect payment from your insurance carrier, you will be responsible to pay for the services that were rendered.  

Many insurance plans have limited coverage for mental health benefits. Testing services are typically not covered by your insurance plan. Your plan may also have a certain number of therapy sessions per year and may also require additional authorizations periodically. While much can be accomplished in short-term therapy, many patients feel that more services are needed after their insurance benefits expire. If this is the case, your practitioner will do their best to help your continued care by modifying your fee arrangement to a self-pay plan or, if needed, link you to community resources that could further your personal growth.

We do, on limited occasions, accept reduced fees for patients who wish to seek or remain in therapy but have extenuating circumstances that preclude them from paying the regular rates. For limited periods of time, we may also lower fees for patients who are temporarily unemployed. Please discuss these matters with your practitioner or potential practitioner so sensitivity to your circumstances can be considered.
